Programme Note
Prelude for Lily was written in response to a private commission for a short test piece for flute and piano for young flautist Lily Hall. Lily played the piece for the first time with pianist Robin Green at a lunchtime concert in the Weston Studio, Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cardiff.
