New recording now available of John Metcalf’s Septet

Listen to the recently released second recording of John Metcalf’s Septet for flute, clarinet, harp and string quartet. It’s on the Harp & Co label (CD5050-39) and features harpist Rachel Talitman. The CD is titled In the light of Ravel, all the repertoire on it being for the same combination of instruments as Ravel’s masterpiece. The world premiere recording is available on the Signum Classics disc Paths of Song (SIGCD203) with harpist Eleanor Turner.
